Dr. <strong>Paul Emile TSHINGA AHUKA<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 re\u00e7u chaleureusement en audience par son homologue am\u00e9ricain, S.E.M. <strong>Jeffrey PRESCOTT<\/strong>, dans son bureau \u00e0 Rome, le lundi 09 septembre 2024, pour lui faire une restitution de sa mission en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En effet, l\u2019Ambassadeur am\u00e9ricain a effectu\u00e9 sa premi\u00e8re visite officielle dans notre pays, du 6 au 10 ao\u00fbt 2024. Au cours de son voyage, l\u2019Ambassadeur PRESCOTT a annonc\u00e9 une contribution de 424 millions de dollars am\u00e9ricains en aide humanitaire et sanitaire de la part des Etats-Unis d\u2019Am\u00e9rique. Il a rencontr\u00e9 de hautes autorit\u00e9s congolaises, des responsables de l\u2019ONU ainsi que des Repr\u00e9sentants du secteur priv\u00e9 et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, et ont discut\u00e9 d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de questions bilat\u00e9rales, r\u00e9gionales et mondiales, notamment l\u2019aide humanitaire et le d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Kinshasa, le Diplomate am\u00e9ricain s\u2019est entretenu avec S.E. Mme <strong>Judith SUMINWA TULUKA<\/strong>, Premi\u00e8re Ministre et S.E.M. <strong>Gr\u00e9goire MUSTHAIL MUTOMB<\/strong>, Ministre de l\u2019Agriculture et S\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire. Ce dernier a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les priorit\u00e9s de son Minist\u00e8re en ce qui concerne les Agences des Nations Unies bas\u00e9es \u00e0 Rome (FAO, FIDA et PAM), en mettant l\u2019accent sur les efforts visant \u00e0 int\u00e9grer le d\u00e9veloppement agricole \u00e0 la protection de l\u2019environnement et \u00e0 l\u2019att\u00e9nuation du changement climatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019Ambassadeur TSHINGA a profit\u00e9 de l\u2019occasion pour remercier son homologue am\u00e9ricain, notamment pour le cessez-le-feu \u00e0 l\u2019Est, initi\u00e9 par les Etats-Unis d\u2019Am\u00e9rique et l\u2019aide humanitaire apport\u00e9 aux populations congolaises en situation de crise, le soutien au projet du corridor de Lobito ainsi que pour la contribution au d\u00e9veloppement des secteurs congolais de l\u2019agriculture et des infrastructures. Ils se sont convenus de rester en contact afin d\u2019approfondir les discussions relatives \u00e0 la restauration de la paix en RDC, surtout \u00e0 l\u2019Est, et sur des sujets d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats communs pour les deux pays. L\u2019Ambassadeur congolais \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 de <strong>M.
